FAQ

Have Questions?

Here are some common questions we get about pressure washing and our services:

We only use high pressure to clean surfaces that can handle it, such as concrete or brick. Soft washing, or low pressure washing using detergents, is used for cleaning other surface types so as not to damage them.

Most houses should be washed about once a year, depending on location and the climate. Hot, humid areas tend to grow organics more quickly and may need to be washed more often.

Cleaning a house or building not only improves its visual appeal, but can also prolong the life of the surface. Over time, organic growth can damage and stain siding, as well as making concrete and brick surfaces slick and more prone to accidents. Organic growth on asphalt roofs can also eat away at the components of the shingles, shortening the lifespan of the roof.

The most common chemical used in washing is Sodium Hypocholorite (commonly referred to as SH). This is basically bleach, which kills off organic materials such as mold, mildew, algae, etc. and disinfects surfaces. Our process makes sure to protect plants and other organics near the house during washing. Special circumstances may require other chemicals, such as oil stains and rust stains, which will be discussed with you before being used. Our technicians are trained in the use of these chemicals to ensure their safety as well as that of your property.

No you don’t! We can come clean at an appointed time, notifying you when we arrive at the property. We will do a pre-inspection, including pictures of any potential problem areas, and e-mail that report to you. After cleaning, we will send a post-inspection report along with the invoice, which can be paid after you’ve had a chance to review the work.

Typically, pressure washing simply involves using high-pressure water spray to remove contaminants from a service. Power washing usually refers to using pressure washing but with hot water. Soft washing is as it sounds: cleaning surfaces using low pressure instead, letting detergents do the cleaning rather than pressure. This is they type used for most house washes.

While we don’t have the equipment to offer roof cleaning at this time, we do plan on offering this service starting in the summer/fall of 2024! Check back on the site here or follow us on Facebook to stay up to date about services, special deals, and more!
